From National

The National CPS 2013 conference is approaching.

We are planning to produce a BOOKLET on various boating stories that have been “special”  over the past 75 years.  They are tales from the beginning to today (1938 to 2013).  We would like to have submissions of Boating stories of all kinds;
- stories from a Rendezvous,
- from AGMs,
- from your trip around the world or from the Carribean.
- from Social events
- CPS stories

From wherever you have sailed or power-boated. Photographs are accepted as well.   They are “the remember when” stories: stories involving boats and travels and the enjoyment of being on the water or preparing for the water. Times have changed  We would like to hear about the changes.

We also would like to have a photograph of an item or events that have occurred from an AGM (Squadron, District or National)  that has been held in the past. Please send all contributions ot Joan Hicks at canest@oxford.net

Remember, to send in your stories and pictures early so they can be included.

Thank you
P/D/C David Agnew

Notice You still need a VHF Station License ...if you plan to voyage in U.S. waters, you still require the Station License.  Plans for a reciprocal agreement relieving Canadian boaters of this requirement, were abandoned due to the change in security attitudes following 9/11. Fees for a Station License are at the bottom of the IC-3020 form.
