AGM and Graduation Night
We will be holding our AGM and Student Graduation Night on April 16th at the Royal Canadian Legion in Port Dover. Tickets are $20.00 in advance and must be puchased by April 8. This will include a family style meal of Roast Beef and Perch with all the fixings.

Weather Channel Network
There will be a tour of the Weather Channel Network in Oakville on March 10th please contact Diane Allan for more information or to reserve your spot.

Boat Shows
There are a couple of Boat Shows being held locally in the next few months.
This will be the booth we will be using, picture taken at the Leisure Expo.

Bridge Yachts in Port Dover will be holding theirs:
March 27th and March 28th.

Proctor Marine in Simcoe will be holding theirs:
April 10th.

VHF Maritime Radio Course
Due to popular demand, we will be offering another VHF Maritime Radio course.

Pub Night!
We started on March 6th 2008. This is an impromptu get together at Capt'n Billy's on Main St. Port Dover for all interested.
This is always held the 1st Thurday of every month at 7:00 pm.
Please bring your favourite Boating Yarn.

Bridge Meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month (except Jul. & Dec.) at 7:00pm.

Interested in traveling into U.S. waters?

If you answered yes to both these questions, then you are required to have a Transponder decal affixed to your boat in order to enter U.S. waters.

Notice You still need a VHF Station License ...if you plan to voyage in U.S. waters, you still require the Station License. Plans for a reciprocal agreement relieving Canadian boaters of this requirement, were abandoned due to the change in security attitudes following 9/11.
